The history surrounding the haunting of Monaghan Hall is muddy to say the least.  Truthfully, all one can really say
is that this building and the stories that swirl around it are a prime example of how local legend and Internet hearsay
can come together  to obfuscate the facts.  If you combine all that with  a healthy portion of "Don't ask, don't tell"
from the local powers that be,  you end up with a  hopeless tangle of information.
You also get a story worth investigating.

I.N.S.I.G.H.T. would like to extend its sincerest thanks to the  Gonzaga University Music and Journalism
departments for allowing us to be the first investigative team  into this beautiful old building.  Its an experience none
of us will soon forget.
