1) Liability
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  will not be held responsible or liable for any
injuries or damage to any person or equipment at anytime while
participating in any investigations. No one under 18 will be
accepted as a member. I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  cannot and will not be
responsible for minors.

2) Revenue
No member of the I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  team will ever charge a
fee to conduct an investigation. No member will accept a gift of
money or other compensation for their personal gain for any
service performed as a member of I.N.S.I.G.H.T.
At some point in the future a treasurer may be appointed. Rules
governing the treasury process will be established at that time.

3) Participation
There maybe times when the number of people will be limited for
an investigation or there maybe times when an investigation is
a spur of the moment opportunity.  Additionally,  the client may set
rules that we will have to follow in order to complete an
investigation. These restrictions will take precedent over any
other I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  participation guidelines. However, no
member will ever be intentionally excluded from any
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  function.

Membership and participation in all I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  activities is
strictly on a volunteer basis. No member current or future will be
excluded from any I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  function based on past
participation.
Team members will be classified as being on "Active" or
"Inactive" status when investigations or events are being
coordinated.
Any member may request to be placed on inactive status at any
time for any reason no questions asked. Subsequent to this, a
member may request to be returned to active status at any time
for any reason no questions asked.
All members on active status will be considered for participation
in any and all Insight Spokane activities.
All members on inactive status will NOT be considered for
participation in any and all I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  activities.
Requests for any change of status should be submitted to the
team leader and the case manager for updating.

4) Membership
Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to apply for
membership in I.N.S.I.G.H.T.
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  will not discriminate based on sex, race,
nationality, sexual orientation, disability or any other factor.
All applications will be subject to approval by all active members
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  In the case of a split decision the majority
will rule. In any case where there is no majority (i.e.. 50-50 split)
admission will at the discretion of the team leader.
Any I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  member may choose to terminate their
association at any time for any reason no questions asked.
Subsequent to this a former member can reapply for
membership at any time but will be considered a "New member"
for the purposes of evaluation and acceptance into the group.

5) Conduct
During an investigation all team members are expected to
conduct themselves in a professional and serious manner,
especially around Clients, their Residences or Businesses.

Generally speaking, solo investigations can be hazardous. As a
rule individual investigations will not be sanctioned by
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  Should a client request a single investigator,
the case will be assessed by the group before proceeding.

If at any time a I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  member should break any
law, knowingly or unknowingly while on a unsanctioned solo
investigation, that member will be held responsible for their own
actions.
I.N.S.I.G.H.T.  will not condone irresponsible or criminal
behavior.

No Trespassing on private property. Respect and obey any and
all No trespassing signs.

No alcohol or drugs before or during an investigation.

No smoking during an investigation. When at all possible a
smoking area will be established where it won't
adversely effect the evidence being gathered.

Team members will be responsible for anything that they bring
with them.

All investigation sites will be considered a "leave only footprints"
environment. Pack out your trash. This includes cigarette butts.

Be respectful of all property. Vandalism will not be tolerated.

Be respectful of your teammates. We are a diverse group with
differing personalities and beliefs but we are all in this for the
same reason.

6) Expectations of leadership
During and investigation the Team leader will be charged with
the following:

a) Ensure that the rules are followed. Violators may face
exclusion from an event in order to preserve the integrity of the
investigation or activity.
b) End an investigation prematurely should health, safety or
other considerations deem it necessary.
c) Coordinate investigations and formulate plans for
investigation sites using all personnel and equipment as
necessary or requested by the client.
