The "brown room" (named by the I.N.S.I.G.H.T. investigators ) was the only room on the second floor that
wasn't painted white. The room was a dark brown and the windows were covered in a heavy black material. In
the photos the walls appear to be purple. This is an effect produced by the camera, its flash and a longer than
normal exposure time. It's is a good example of how equipment can effect your data.
The drapes and the dark color of the room produced a heavy atmosphere that all the investigators present
noticed immediately. In addition, there was a buildup of dust in the room (the second floor was rarely used) on
the floor, windowsill and baseboards.
It soon becomes obvious that the "decor" of the room was enough to become the author of a few haunted room
stories. Throw a handful of paranormal investigators in the mix (all of them kicking up dust and snapping
pictures) and next thing you know... you have ghosts.

On the inside looking out of
the brown room.
Q: When is an orb not a ghost?
A: Probably always but especially
when its the shape of the aperture
of your camera.
A few orbs produced by running a hand
along a baseboard and then clapping
just out of the frame.
Same technique, different angle.
